Coordinate vector
Definition
Let be a field, let be a vector space over , and let be a basis of . Each is equal to for exactly one . The coordinate vector of in the basis is The scalars are the coordinates of in .
Remarks
The coordinates depend on the order of the basis vectors, so is an ordered basis. The map is a linear isomorphism , see isomorphism with the coordinate space. In with , the vector has coordinate vector . A change of basis matrix converts coordinates in one basis into coordinates in another basis.
Explanations
L1 human
The coordinates of a vector tell us how much of each basis vector we need to build it. Different bases give different coordinates for the same vector. After we fix a basis, each vector is just a list of numbers.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
