Arithmetic function
Definition
An arithmetic function is a function from the positive integers to the complex numbers.
Remarks
Examples are Euler's totient function , the divisor function and the Möbius function . Some texts allow values in another commutative ring, or set and use all natural numbers as the domain. The Dirichlet convolution makes the arithmetic functions into a commutative ring.
Explanations

An arithmetic function is a sequence of numbers, seen as a function of . Number theory studies such functions when they describe arithmetic properties of , such as its number of divisors.
What this node needs for W2
- edge instance_of in: one example (0 of 1)
- edge not_instance_of in: one non-example that fails one clause (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
