statement proposition
Closed sets contain their limits
Statement
Let be a metric space and let be a closed subset of . Let be a sequence of points of that converges to a point . Then .
Remarks
Proof: if , then is open and contains . Thus some ball misses . But for large , a contradiction. In a metric space the converse is also true: a set that contains the limits of all its convergent sequences is closed. This follows from closure is the set of limits of sequences. The statement holds in every topological space, with the same proof.

You cannot leave a closed set by a limit of a sequence. For example, in , and is not in , which shows that is not closed.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
